PATIENT RIGHTS

-The patient has the right to freely choose his or her doctor.
-The patient has the right to be treated by a doctor who freely makes clinical and ethical decisions without prejudice.
-The patient has the right to accept or reject the suggested treatment after being informed adequately.
-Patients have the right to expect respect from their doctors regarding information about their medical and private lives.
-Every patient has the right to die with dignity.
-The patient has the right to accept or reject psychological and spiritual consolation including the help of a proper religious representative.

PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

-Patients need to notify changes regarding social security and personal information on time.
-Patients should completely give information about their complaints, diseases that they had gone through before, whether they were in-patient before or not, if they have still some drugs that they use and their health.
-Patients should follow the rules and applications of health institution that he applied.
-Patients must follow the rules associated with the conveyor chain which was determined by Minister of Health and other Social Security Institutions.
-The cooperation of patients with the healthcare staff is expected during their treatment, maintenance and rehabilitation process.
-If patients use health facility that gives the service by the appointment , they need to follow the rules regarding the date and time of the appointment and notify changes to whom it may concern.
-Patients should respect rights of the health staff, other patients and visitors.
-If the patient damages hospital items, he or she has to cover the damage.
-Patients should carefully listen to suggestions about the treatment and drugs and ask questions if there are not understood parts.
-If patients cannot adjust suggestions regarding their treatment, they should inform the healthcare staff.
-Patients need to state whether they understood correctly health care and discharge care plan or not.
-In the case of rejection of the treatment and disagreement with suggestions by the patient, the patient will be responsible for consequences.

TRANSPORT

The Ahu Hetman Dialysis Centre is owned by the Ahu Hetman Hospital which is just 50meters away from our Hospital. Any medical treatment our dialysis patients have to receive (incl. Laboratory, X – Ray etc.) is contributed by the Ahu Hetman Hospital with its advanced technology. Also any accommodation reservations or transportation within Marmaris for patients coming from abroad or local can be arranged by our hospital.
